Just would like to know if anyone else has seens anything like this and to get some kinda idea the history behind this if there is any. The knife is solid brass and even the blade. I am looking for a collector or anyone interested in giving me some information in regard to this: Bmeintzer@icloud.com. Thank you and enjoy.
I have a couple of questions. Have you put a magnet to the blade to see if it is magnetic? How did you come to know it is brass? Brass is a soft metal with a fairly low melting point and not a common metal for a blade. It appears there are two words in picture #4 at the left end, can you provide us with what the letters are? The photos blur when enlarged so even with reverse colors it is difficult to read. Are there any other markings at all on it?
