    Thought this orange and black glass pedestal bowl was really nice. It does not appear to be hand made because you can see a clear seam in both sides of the black base. The top is more red but the outside turns orange as it gets closer to the bottom at the base. There is a fluted rib pattern in the bowl that's kind of hard to see in the pictures. No marks or lables to ID it. I'll leave that to the glass experts out there. -Mike-

      Hi Lisa.....Thanks for the info, It's probably an L. E. Smith piece or similar company. Back when I posted this I was not so clued in. Your post reminded me I still had this piece so I thought I'd ask. It's under the bed with several other boxes. Out of sight out of mind...lol. I tend to pack away my suspected better pieces so they won't get damaged until I have a proper way to display them. After two years I'm curious again about the maker. Maybe some new info has emerged online. Thanks so much for the help. -Mike- :)
