I believe this is a walnut burl. I think there was a top hutch on it and it has been separated. I want to keep the hardware on it and then lightly sand and stain. The top has the indentation--2-- where I could put an old photo of some kind or any ideas or suggestions? No idea of year on this or anything. I got it at an auction and really liked it. It also has a red velvet drawer on the left hand side. I do have to replace some hardware but would want to keep it close to this. ??? love to hear ideas.

      Nice wood-- probably 1880s- 90s.

I'd put a quality piece of wood on the top, so it doesn't show as easily that something is missing.

Show us once you've finished it!

You need to get together with this poster:

Depending on size and with some hardware replacement-- the two of you may be able to "create" one piece!

Hi luv 3, your hutch is awesome. As suggested by scottvez, check out my listing
shown above. They look like long lost relatives. I wish I knew more about it, maker, use etc. Would love to hear anything you find out!
