    Hello Again,
Another of yesterday's finds. Vintage Sterling silver belt buckle?
    Beautifully engraved, stamped, and monogrammed.
Not very large, that's why I question whether or not it is a belt buckle.
    It's a lovely piece,.....anyone recognize the mark?

    Have a great week-end,
    Thanks, Tony.

I don't think that is a belt buckle. Not sure what they are called but I remember a girlfriend having one. She put the hair behind her head in the top hole, over the center bar and down through the bottom hole. It kept her hair pulled back and she said it was prettier than making a pony tail with a rubber band. Although this one looks smaller like a scarf keeper that slides up and down.

The hallmark isn't clear but here is a link to the encyclopedia of silvermarks, hallmarks & makers marks. You should have no problem finding the mark. If that doesn't work I have another link also I think.

      Thanks, fhrjr2, that's a big help.
I think you're right, a scarf holder makes much more sense,....I can see that now.
You're kind to write and Thanks for the hallmark links, I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
Take Care and best wishes for happy seasons ahead,
      Tony
