Hello Everyone!
I bought this yesterday,( when I shouldn't be buying a thing ). I was on my way to the market and happened to duck into the Morgie's lot.
This was on a shelf near the clothing, I was immediately attracted by the design and finish of the glaze, and the handsome, compact shape and size.
It was reasonably priced,( more like Tiffany's lately ), so I knew I had to have it.
I hope that someone can tell me something about it.
Thank You for taking a look,
best wishes to all,
Tony.

This is a German slip painted piece, probably about the 30s. It was made about the same time as a lot of the Czech pieces of similar slip design. I don't know if the factory was ever identified. This color and design was made in a lot of different pieces, bowls, vases, etc.
Thanks for the information fishiowa, that's a big help.
Love your items,........many beautiful Czech items, pieces I also love and have collected. I look forward to seeing more of your postings.
