A perfect reflection of how the world renowned ketchup made it to our tables. This was made in Orillia ON by the MiniToys()Taco Ltd. (Otaco Ltd.). I know it to be made in the 50's. A collector once told me these toys were made from recycled steel which the company did itself. I have never researched the company in such depth. I just like it ! It has been used over the years. Happily very moderately. I have only seen one other. It delivered the pickles. :)
Love the old pressed steel. These private label trucks are hard to find.
Love the graphics ! Nice post and welcome to CW :-)
Yes...Az...They are hard to find. This was pure luck it fell into my hands. It was stashed away for about 40 years !
Thank you Manikin :)
that is really cool
Great truck!!
Great Truck. Unfortunately prices are at the extreme end of tin truck collecting, Slowly other makers prices are creeping up, while Minnitoys have actually dropped a bit over the last 2 years. Nice Canada Packers version on feebay.ca this week, along with about 5 others.
I did get in trouble with fellow collectors when I failed to tell them about a Star Weekly version a month ago. They are great , heavy trucks and are my favourites. Wish I could buy all of them.
