    This is a circus side show canvas thats been in our family for 80 yrs or so.What I know about it is my grandfather was a young kid at the time went to the circus with his grandfather. my grandfather was born in 1906. His grandpa bought this for him as a present .my brother did a little diggin on it .was painted by last name nuemann....he said also that this circus train caught on fire and many cars were burned..in 1915. Red skelton was apart of the train .so they say ..help me with identifying this.thanks john.

      This was made by Edward Neumann (whose studio was located at 120 North Ann Street in Chicago) Made sideshow banners. A 12 x 20 ft was $48.00 back then and for a extra $1.50 he would add rope around the edges. This was around the 1910-1920 era. Dave

      I would do that, they can go from $1,000. and up. American Pickers found 2 of these on one of thier shows by another artrist and sold one for 10,000.00 and another for $5,000.00. Its all come to who wants it bad enough. Dave
