Thanks everyone for all your help! I cant see the J&J Hall mark on the Cowan spoons at all. I'll see about reaching out to them. Once I weigh the spoons, I'll post that info here too.
Definitely going to check the book out of the Library! The one I found was from 1972... not sure if it's a first edition but it should be helpful.
