I love researching! When I find something I just can't figure out, I usually reach out, and hunt for any obscure information I can find. Because I'm fairly new to thI love researching! When I find something I just can't figure out, I usually reach out, and hunt for any obscure information I can find. Because I'm fairly new to the antique world (less than five years), I often find that what I thought was obscure is actually well documented by an expert in that particular area of collecting. I like to think of myself as having a broad general knowledge in many areas, and I am grateful for those experts, as it is not in my personality to stay focused on one particular subject! I like to think I do my part in finding and saving those little treasures that otherwise may have been overlooked...I keep things I personally enjoy, and pass along items that others might be more interested in. In my real life, I am a part time teacher, busy mom, and wife, but my hobby is in the past! (Read more)
