Yes it does run and it has 2 keys. Thanks for all the info so far. I agree it would be s shame for it to be scrapped.
Oh I'll put a picture of the inside workings on later when I can open this again

Thanks for your comments it's really hard to see hallmarks on it there is one that shows 18 so I presume perhaps wrongly I'm not sure it means 18k gold and a number on the case and watch workings of 3...
