Just to add some info in case anyone reads this. I determinted through family members that it it most definitely mink. Turns out she never worked with fox fur -- I was mistaken there.

Haha Manikin, you're pretty far off. My Grandmother made this Bear. Her (our) last name is Baer. She is still living, but hasn't made any Bears in about twenty years. This one is probably 30-35 ...
