All four curved edges are sharpened but not very sharp. And there is no good way to sharpen the two back edges, as they are guarded by the bolsters. The handle appears to be ebony and is missing two p...
We thought all those as well (besides sealing wax) :) but nothing really fits and we can't find anything close on google (as yet). It may be from the old horse days or even some foreign tool.
