IronLace, thank you so much. Yes, I'd caught the typo/auto correct of Monart (Monet) earlier and forgot to edit it. I was able to find one slightly similar, (also needed wiring) on Ebay. It sold...
The base is 3 inches wide and the lamp without the bulb is 6 inches. I wouldn't say the glass is overly thick, but I have no way to measure that. I'd compare it to the thickness of a drinking glas...
Managed to get two photos to upload in the right direction. I will measure the base when I get home, but I want to say 3 inches. I wouldn't say the glass is overly thick.
