After a clean and oil she sewed ever so sweetly. I got the 'bug' and now own a Singer 201k, a Bernina 530 Record, and a couple of others beside all of which sew beautifully. I have a modern machine too but I've given it to my daughter-in-law who hopes to learn to sew!
I've always loved textiles and yarn. Mum taught me to knit when I was 8 years old and I still knit. My most treasured possession is an intricate lacy baby shawl knitted by Mum for my first baby. (Read more)
