Iron effigies

Iron effigies were made to ward of evil by absorbing it. Cow effigies were blacksmith made and placed in barns to protect the herd. It was forbidden for a human to touch these effigies. If an effigy was touched the evil was released into the herd. Horse and rider effigies are similar. Their purpose is not documented at this time. More research needs to be done. Comments welcome.
