We are currently building a 19th Century Photographer Database and are using information from actual cabinet cards and CDVs to obtain most of the information. Over the last 5 years or so we have accumulated thousands of these old photos, including tintypes (which are usually of no help to us - but extremely interesting to us). (Read more)
