No brass is showing. It was working but was overwound too tight. Now it's not working. Can it be unwound by a watchmaker or jeweller?

Silly me. This is definitely not plastic, at least glass. Would it be worth anything?
Yes there is glass over the cover. I will post the picture soon. Just recharging my camera LOL.
I have a gold Waltham pocket watch serial number 14477672. It doesn't seem to have a front gold cover, just the back. It's in good condition. Do you think it's worth anything?
