Actually, the thing is I love cats, have 3 plus 2 outside that belonged to my neighbor that moved.
was wrong about where these came from...my Daddy bought these from childhood friend...she bought these in 1970's at an outdoor antique fair in Europe
still have mine with lid...was wedding gift 1974
