A friend was moving and knowing how much I love anything old, she handed me a box of various items she had picked up at an auction. Inside I found 2 small boxes that appeared to be original shipping boxes from a publisher, Haldeman-Julins Company, Girard, Kansas. Inside each box I found small pocket size numbered booklets. I have 63 in total. They are all titled Little Blue Books and they are all numbered. I also have a catalog with the title: Complete Catalog of 1,1617 Little Blue Books. I started some google searches and found a few on EBay selling small lots. I narrowed my searches down to each title and book no. I discovered several titles were selling individually for as much as $85. But what I found most interesting was my searches led me to college libraries. I was also directed to the publishers website, they appear to be searching for these books and have a link to contact them if you have any in your possession. It has been over a month since I contacted them, so apparently they are not that interested. I am quite confident these are from the 1920's, the original owner was very helpful with the dating by writing on the front the date in which they were read. I am considering putting them up for auction I am not a big eBay fan when it comes to rare antiques and would rather use a site that only deals in antiques. My question is, do I have something here that an antique site would be interested in and if so what should be my starting bid
