My name is montie I live in washington state we recently inherited a very nice painting by C.Ciappa as far as we know my wife's mother was given this painting for a My name is montie I live in washington state we recently inherited a very nice painting by C.Ciappa as far as we know my wife's mother was given this painting for a wedding present back in the 1940s it was purchased from a little shop in Italy,the oil painting is a picture of fishing boats in the moonlight on a rocky cove the moonlight is shining down through the clouds and lighting up the ocean where there are many fishing boats some have lanterns lighting the way stunning scene very good condition. 221/2 tall by 451/2 wide we are trying to find out more about this painting any information would be greatly appreciate thanks.
