I have only been collecting for a short time. Several Family members are collectors too. My Mom has been collecting coins for as long as I can remember,and my Uncle I have only been collecting for a short time. Several Family members are collectors too. My Mom has been collecting coins for as long as I can remember,and my Uncle owned an Antiques Shop for many years. I have always had a knack for finding things of value ever since I was very young. The first thing I ever found, was a gentleman's ring. I was just swimming off of Miami Beach with my diving mask and I saw something shiny.I dove sown,and found a barnacle encrusted ring. It was gold,and had a lattice basket weave design surrounding a blue Star Sapphire. The star was doubled,and very rare. I gave it to my Dad,and he bought me an entire diving set,with fins,mask,the works ! Then,while he was working,the UPS man came into his shop,and when my Mom & Dad got ready to eat lunch out that day, the ring was Gone ! I have helped other people find lost items after that. I seem to have a radar for that kind of thing. I also like to attend Antique & Hot Rod car shows from time to time,Flea Markets to look for unusual items and collectibles. I have three webpages on the internet,and have been selling on eBay for over 5 yrs now.
