I posted my rocker and solved the mystery. You can look solve your too by visiting my rocker posting and reviewing the comments. The value of the rocker looks to be about $175.00.

You were right TallCakes ???? It is a Nichols & Stine Boston Rocker of the 1960's style and is priced $175.00. Thank you SO much for taking the time to comment. I feel a lot better about keeping it...
I just bought a chair very similar to this one. I was wondering about its value. It is very comfortable, well built and appears very old.
