I took mine to an antique booth that we have and the owner, who is also a butcher and owns a meat market, said to put $50.00 on it. Of course, he may also be on drugs. (Just kidding)

Thanks, Dan. That is what I have found out also---that it is used to taper a hole. Would still like to know definitively though. My grandson said it's for removing ear wax.
