I was given this from a Canadian family who was moving back to Canada and could not pick it with him my grandmother was a history major and she said it dated back toI was given this from a Canadian family who was moving back to Canada and could not pick it with him my grandmother was a history major and she said it dated back to the early 1900s if not a little before. Hoping to find someone who would know more about it she believes it was made by the French because the carving in the wood all handles and hooks are solid brass.
