Now I'm thinking it's more of a Resin surface.Can anybody put an age on it?

I'm thinking if he was repainted,it had to be along time ago.The Patina on it definitely looks old.

It's not solid leather but it feels pretty solid.Not sure what's under leather.
Yes it's definitely leather and to me it looks old.Im no expert,that's why I'm here.Measures 28 " long and 16" tall.
