I thought this was solved until I found one for sale on Etsy, it is being described as a snuff bottle from Afghanistan, handcrafted in the 1930's, any thoughts on this? The owner of the other one does...
kyratango, I think you may be correct. I tried the Q-tip suggestion from noob and it came out black! Thank you all for the comments and the entertainment! Glad I came across this site. Tina
