Haha there’s absolutely no trace of that smell...I picked it up in Venice Italy ???????? and the gentleman was definitely a interesting one. He also gave me some card that went with it..said it once b...
It’s almost like a brass insert. Doesn’t seem to go all the way down. And it’s pressed in pretty good. Yes the wood is very hard.
It’s solid wood! Definitely not molded lol
