It looks mesoamerican. I think the best option would be to find an anthropologist for advice. I’m sure they would have the best answers on what it is and where it came from.
I have found very similar pieces on hilltops in New Mexico on an Elk Hunting trip I took on private land. Similar design and pattern. I’ve never seen so many Native American artifacts untouched in one...
