Whether on the job or off, photography has been a lifelong passion that’s taken us all over the world. Now, with over 20 years combined photography experience, owners Chris and Grace Hughes display their photography and proud vintage camera collection in their gallery and creative service shop. Located at 986 Bathurst street just north of Bloor, the two floor complex houses a gallery and one of a kind vintage camera display upstairs along with a photo studio and work station below. Visitors and customers can look forward to walking into an experience when stepping into A Nerd’s World. Everyone is welcomed with a smile, bowtie, glasses, and a nerdy education on what they see in the space.
While we work with a wide-range of clients, portraits are a speciality of ours. We offer memorable fine art portraits, that isn’t offered at your typical photography studios. Our passion is to capture your essence on camera with an artistic approach. Using only top of the line digital equipment, our photographers work hard to make you look and feel your best. For the traditionalists out there, we also offer film photography packages with the use of some of our favourite vintage cameras. There is no other place that combines a photography gallery, photography services, over 100 vintage cameras publicly displayed in one spot, and real nerds to talk to.
