OK! Found it! :)))) Feeling pretty stupid. The pattern number is on the back of my plates. I googled and nothing came up. Went to Replacements and found it: http://replacements.com/webquote/SP_R...
I found an advertisement from a magazine dated March 1917 that lists it as a new pattern (with photo). Unfortunately it still doesn't give the name, but it does describe it as a Chinese pagoda patter...
