Seems like it could be used as a type of caribiner to attach/hang something from an overhead pipe. It would hold firmly while weight is on the lower "V" portion, but could be easily released and move...
Thanks slackjack. I looked one up and it looks a lot like one made by Hyde. Pushed it in and sets it. Cool tool. Thanks again for the hint.
