I meant to say a Horrocks Ibbotson, Valliant not Airex. Don't know why I mixed those up.
These were a good quality copy of the Aledo Micron, an Italian top quality reel. There were a few similar reels made in Japan at this same time period, 1960's.

This reel looks like an Airex Valliant vintage around 1959. Might have been made by Airex for Penguin, I think they were not a manufacturer.
I also have one, it'seems to be the same reel used for the Spin-Champ rod and reel combo. Of the late '40's, I think. You can find some information searching for that one. These are the only ones I h...
