Yes I finally found some almost like these on a site and are sure now that are antique cabinet pulls as you suggested and thanks so much for your help.

Find the nearest "Antique Roadshow" near you and take it there I bet they can tell you all about it.
Try china pattern match on the internet for your Haviland Limoges set. Good luck with your search.
It looks like the Schonwald Porcelain Bavaria China mark to me. Hope this help you in your search.
