The back plate will have a date code A# is for the 1940's L# is the 1950's this is pre 1960
Sadly enough most people want more than it is worth to appraise. Try a local Jeweler, he can give you a broad idea, don't get hopes up - probably worth about half of what you paid for it... Let me kn...
