1897 Congress of Parents and Teachers.

This is a necklace that I believe was issued at the very 1st meeting in Washington. The necklace is oblong has antique gold trim, a pearl background with a raised gold circle. Within the border of the circle is printed "National Congress of Parents and Teachers 1897"
