Sign would be from the 1910's-1930's, value I'd say about $200-$250.

Cool find! The sign was probably made by the railroad to cut costs. May have been painted white with black letters at one time. Early 1900's for sure.
First half should say "RAIL ROAD CROSSING"...looks like someone cut it in half. and second half should say "STOP LOOK AND LISTEN". They went together to form an "X" shape. Most likely from the 1920's-...
It is a sign off of a piggyback trailer most likely circa 1960's. I also have one in my collection.
