Im an young collector only been doing it for 5 or so years but I honestly can't get enough. If just looking at pieces or holding history in my hand or even getting Im an young collector only been doing it for 5 or so years but I honestly can't get enough. If just looking at pieces or holding history in my hand or even getting to learn about the roots of certain American companies. That are gone or just changed there name. I don't know how much of a collection u have to show for my 5 years. Cause I seem to keep giving my life 14 year old son majority of what I find. Ah it hurts me sometimes I'll be honest. But he's a good kid, stuck with a crappy dad. So it's the least I can do. And later on it makes me feel good to see him taking care of my finds example: Paterson after dinner mints can with lid. Who knows , it might actually pay his rent someday.
Anyway I just turned 40 on May 14 and i am self employed. Looking for any and everything that brings me peace and still yet challenges my mind. ( story of my life) that's why 8 like collecting American memorabilia. Whether I'm good a5 it or not ( I'll get better) I just like to retrieve ,study ,admire collect, and trade.
