Looks like it's an ice cream freezer. I can see finding that in a store just not in the basement of a residence! Thanks for your comments.
Thanks -- I was thinking ice cream freezer as well. Although it seems like a pretty big piece of equipment to install in your basement just to hold ice cream!

I'm not really sure what these are. The seem like they would be earrings but there isn't any way for them to stay on the ear!
