In advance, everyone selected their favorite of my portraits for inspiration and prepared a story to share. This annual salon has brought me much joy as stories are told (through letters, essays, obituaries & good, old-fashioned prose) about the would-be history of each subject's life. It evolved into my Portrait Secrets blog, a place for those who daydream about the former lives of their beloved treasures.
I launched the PortraitSecrets Etsy shop in 2013, which features all sorts of mid-century items (esp. barware, 0ffice accessories & one-of-a-kind kitsch).
