I just picked up a very old singer treadle sewing machine that works but don’t know much about it, I picked it up because my grandma had one just like it and it’s just so beautiful and brought back so many memories as a child. It was in rough shape when we brought it home, but I fell in love with it all the same I would love to know more about it, because I cannot find anything on the internet as far as the serial number goes. It has a sphinx with wings and gold flakes. And I also cannot find the model number. If someone could please help me. If no one can I understand, but is there a book that I can get that will tell me all about it? And a manual because I was never taught to sew and I want to learn so I can use it. (Read more)
