This Northwood Good Luck Bowl certainly isn’t. However, there’s no question that carnival glass, in all its opaque iridescence, is photographically challenged, compared for example to clearer glass items like paperweights or marbles.
What do you think? Is beauty in the eye of the beholder when it comes to carnival glass? Do you think its beautiful, or ugly, or neither?
Carnival Glass has a certain appeal. I have an Australian bowl with bird on the base. I have no idea what type of bird it is and cannot get a decent photograph of it. It is not the lyre bird or Kookaburra.
