A 3-1/2 inch PG 358 Loetz vase in a bronze holder. PG 358 is a decor that Franz Hofstotter designed for the 1900 Paris exhibition. The production number is 85/362 which indicates that it is a piece made for the dealer E Bakalowits in Vienna. The bronze holder was made by the Bakalowits firm to fit the vase. (2011)
stunning:)
I love everythig about this!! XOXOXO Got to be very unique.
Nice to see with the original bronze mount. I suspect many didn't survive or have been long discarded by glass "purists."
There are some pieces of glass that make you wonder, just for a moment, would I pick the glass or would I pick my life partner to save from a house fire? :) What a beauty!
Simply fantastic!
BEAUTIFUL. I'd be afraid to slide this one out of the holder-- does it latch or open on one side to remove?

Scott- Yes, the holder comes appart. One of the three sections is held in place with a small screw from underneath the ring. The other two sections are fixed.
So much beauty in such a small object!
