Hello Again,
I bought this recently, thought it was something pretty special.
The glass is cut, not cast, with beautiful diagonal ribs, finished nicely at the bottom edge.
The gold plate cap is solid, fits snug, and has a mistletoe relief, ( just gorgeous under a magnifying glass ),
when in the open position it reveals a cut glass stopper.
Filled with a coarse powder,( like ground pepper ), that has a lovely scent.
It stands approximately 2+1/2 inches high, and has a nice engraved mark on the bottom,.......I hope it looks familiar to someone.
Any information would be greatly appreciated,
Thank You,
Tony.
Beautiful:) wow , you have some amazing finds:)!
Sean, you're so quick!, Thanks for the love.
and Thank You for the comment, dear man.
Just beautiful Tony. Looks French? Bath Salts?
Thanks for the look and love, Kev!
I've been thinking of you both, hoping that things are getting better each day.
Kevin, you may have something there, bath salts make a lot of sense,( no pun intended:)
I've looked the lid over carefully, expecting to find some mark, any type of mark,....but nothing.
French marks can be really tiny. This is a quality item. Might even be one of the great names. A keeper!
Yes, it's really beautiful. I have it on a shelf in my bedroom,....out of the way of traffic.
I'm happy to know that both you and Sean give it a thumbs up!, that means a lot.
Thanks Dr.Fluffy!
