V is for Victory patriotic Pins. Some material used during WW2 was wood, copper, sheet metal, Lucite, leather. photo one is General MacArthur made of wood pin, Photo (2) are two pennies one with a painted V dated 1938 and the helmet shaped penny is dated 1924. third photo is V sign made of sheet metal or aluminum. The last is Telephone pin Service for Victory.
