Here is another metal detector find that I am not sure about. At first I thought it was a Pole Tag, however, it just doesn't look right for that. May by some kind of vehicle tax tag? It appears to have been some shade of light green at one time.

vanskyock is on the money, it's a year tag for Texas vehicle license plate 1944

I was thinking along the lines of a livestock tag that would be on the ear. Cattle had their ear tagged to show they had been tested for diseases. I believe they still tag them.
