This is my latest addition:
Iver Johnson mens bicycle from the 1900s.
All original & in very great condition for it's age.
The stem & other parts are nickel plated. Chrome
was not in style until later.
The saddle is by Troxel Co. & is very pliable.
The first owner (from New Jersey) always kept the bicycle
inside & never subjected it to outside elements.
About the only changes I will make is restore the
wood rim wheels .
The 28 " tires being a century old & which have
"gone the way of the Dodo" will definitely be replaced.
But will still keep the originals for display.
One thing I noticed is that similar to the Schwinns...
this bicycle has the name of the company "Iver Johnson"
stamped or engraved on the, handlebars, stem, seat post...
This beauty is still intact ,never has been modified.
Something I intend on doing to preserve it as it was
100 years ago.
