Love the lamp! I don't really know anything about this lamp, besides when it lights up, it is great. The wiring looks pretty old, so I might have to fix that soon, but love it...no history :(

Hi thevintage, sorry i know nothing about it either but it LOVE it, i bet it looks fab lit up!
I think it is a variation of a slag glass lamp. Shoot, I know there is a name for this...tip of my tongue...
same 'pond scene' Art Neaveau shade is on another CW lamp:

This filigree slag lamp is often seen attributed to Miller.
found a lamp with the same tree trunk base noting that it was marked 'Handle':

There are some lamp experts here that will hopefully take a look and respond.
big time.......DROOL. Love it!!
please do have it rewired before you use it. The socket cluster is not original. It would look great with good old solid brass period sockets. You can often find them on ebay. I think that city lights is parting with some old sets, you could also try there. You can find new twisted rayon covered cord and even replacement acorn plugs too. Then you can enjoy your lamp fully and be safe too. You should check where you live but I think you may well find that portables can be rewired legally by the owner and you can find instructions online. Please be safe and enjoy your lovely o overlay panel lamp.
Lovely!
Really amazing piece I bet it's stunning when it's on at night
