This came from GW today and was put aside for me by one of the cashiers I always talk to. She said you have to see this little cup and saucer I thought you might like. It wasn't hard to see that it was Capodimonte just by looking at it. There is also Italy and the Crown "N" mark in gold on the bottom of both pieces. Too bad there's a huge chip in the saucer, but luckily it just misses showing at the gilded edge. There's a bit of wear to the edge of the cup's interior gilding but it still really glows. Little putti and allegorical figures surround the sides of the cup. The saucer has flowers and gilt scrolls around it's edge. Pretty high class. I can just imagine what a whole set must have looked like. -Mike-
