This is a plate that i inherited from my grandmother, who inherited it from her mother in the 50's. If anyone can tell me anything it would be greatly appreciated.

This beautiful piece looks like Japanese Imari style to me, but I’m no expert. Here’s a link which might help you get on the right track

I agree with Mary.
This is one of the Arita marks which from the gotheborg which is transcribed as :
kigyoku houtei no chin - "rare precious treasure"
CW does not have Japanese characters so I have left the out.
Go to the arita page at Gotheborg.
Then find the line:
kigyoku houtei no chin (??????) "rare precious treasure"
The six characters within the brackets are what you have on your plate.
Here they appear as question marks.
Copy these characters and put them into google and you will see many examples of porcelain with other example of the marks.
Thank you very much guys. I love that it has a value to it. My great granny bought it at flea market when it was released from an estate. Good thing she picked it up 60 years ago. :)
