I found this beautiful nappy at a local antique mall whillwhile shopping with my mother and my aunt. Every women in my family collects depression glass. I had no real interest to until I found this sadly I cant find the pattern or the color anywhere ive looked. I have been searching online over the past few weeks and have found anything no color name or the name of the pattern. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. All I know is its made by imperial it has the marking on the inside of it. Thank u for checking out my post
I don't recognize it as a Depression Glass Pattern.....I would consider this handled bowl as an Elegant Glass piece. Not sure of the maker or pattern. RER
as Bob notes this is typically called Elegant Glass. This is Imperial Glass #582 (c.1920s) but no name is given in the IG catalog; "R" has the name as 'Optic & Buttons' and also 'Fancy Colonial'. The form is know by several names; most commonly called a handled nappy, but also a handled bonbon ad handled bowl.
was able to find a patent for a goblet stem with a date of 1914, which would make the pattern considered as EAPG.
Thank u all soooooo very much for ur help.. its greatly appreciated
you're very welcome; nice piece of EAPG : )
